Anxiety treatment

"My mind won't slow down — and I'm exhausted."

Anxiety has a way of making everything feel urgent, overwhelming, and out of your control. Whether you're dealing with constant worry, social anxiety, panic, or that low-level hum of dread you can't quite name — it's real, and it's treatable.

Together, we'll figure out what's driving your anxiety and build practical skills to quiet the noise. You'll learn to recognize anxious thought patterns, respond instead of react, and gradually feel more at ease in your own mind and life.

How I help Individuals in North Carolina

Depression treatment

“I know I should feel okay, but I just... don't."

Depression isn't just sadness — it's the flatness, the fog, the pulling away from things and people that used to matter. It can make even small tasks feel impossible, and asking for help even harder.

In our work together, we'll gently explore what's beneath the surface and start rebuilding your sense of energy, connection, and purpose. You don't have to white-knuckle your way through this. Therapy can help.

Relationships & Communication Treatment

"I just want to be better — a better husband, a better father, a better man."

That's one of the most honest things someone can bring into therapy. It takes courage to recognize that the way you're showing up isn't matching the person you want to be — and to do something about it.

For many people, the problem isn't a lack of love. It's not having the tools to express it in ways the people around them can actually feel. Arguments that spiral. Shutting down. Wanting connection but not knowing how to create it.

Together, we'll look at the patterns showing up across your relationships, understand where they come from, and build something better — the communication skills and self-awareness that help you show up the way you actually want to.

THIS MAY BE A FIT IF YOU'RE WORKING ON

Being a better partner, father, or son. Breaking cycles of conflict. Learning to express feelings clearly .Setting and respecting boundaries. Rebuilding trust after a rupture. Stopping patterns of shutting down. Navigating a difficult separation or divorce. Understanding your role in relationship dynamics.

ADHD Management

Therapy for ADHD isn't about trying harder or being more disciplined. It's about understanding how your brain actually works — and building systems, strategies, and self-compassion that work with it, not against it. We'll address the practical stuff (task initiation, time blindness, organization) alongside the emotional weight that often comes with a lifetime of feeling like you're always one step behind.
